Floor Plans of Famous TV Apartments [nikneuk]
You have NO idea how much i LOVE this post. I actually really do love floor plans…
this makes me happy because someone made these and also happy because now i can fully laugh at how absolutely ridiculous that anybody would ever think people could possibly afford those apartments on the salaries of those characters. christ.

I love this photo of Steve and Laurene Jobs. There is a certain nakedness about it. It could be any couple, just two young hippies, on some commune, in love, sharing a laugh.
I think it important to remember that he was a human being, who likely shared far many more moments like this than the moments we were allowed to see.
While the world mourns the loss of a visionary, we must remember this: A wife has lost her husband. Children have lost their father. And many extended family and friends have lost too.
For those people, there will never again be a moment quite like this.

Earlier this evening, when Beatrix arrived home from a play date, she bounded enthusiastically through the door as usual and wrapped her arms around me. My wife, having heard the news, told Beatrix “You should give Daddy an extra big hug.”
“Why do you need an extra big hug Daddy? What happened?”
“I lost a good friend, honey. He died.”
“Why he died?”
“Sometimes people get sick. Too sick to keep living. So sometimes they die.”
She leaned back in my arms. Took a good look at my face. Caressed it on either side with both hands. Then threw her arms around me and squeezed me long and tight. Into my ear she whispered, “I’ll be your friend. I won’t died.”
She is insanely great.

“Go without a coat when it’s cold; find out what cold is. Go hungry; keep your existence lean. Wear away the fat, get down to the lean tissue and see what it’s all about. The only time you define your character is when you go without. In times of hardship, you find out what you’re made of and what you’re capable of. If you’re never tested, you’ll never define your character.”
